As the original author championed levelling up as the key to Conservative success – but the former Prime Minister neglected the agenda. Observe the consequences.

As the existentially challenged Tories gathers in its conference city for its annual party conference, it has much to ponder regarding its path forward. There is uncertainty if a road forward exists at all. These are challenging circumstances for a governing group that now has very little, if anything, fresh or distinctive to say to the public.

The Missed Opportunity

It could have been so different if concrete steps had been made on an priority that matters to people nationwide: Levelling up. Whichever party succeeds initially, succeeds. Not just for their party, but, more importantly, for a complete society that has desperately requires equal access so badly.
